Me and old buildings

Last year in May, I got an opportunity to have my work at the Winelands Art Gallery in Durbanville, Cape Town. This was my first real experience in a gallery. Being a new comer to the gallery world, I had no idea that the demand on a professional artist is so high. After a few months I realised that I need a lot more experience than I initially thought and withdrew my work at their gallery to work out a way to go forward in this journey.
There were many positive things that came out from this experience, but one thing that stands out for me is that I found a love for painting old buildings - which I never would have given a thought if it was not for Winelands suggesting it.
My latest painting is from a photo that I borrowed from a friend who visited Zurich last year. I hope to paint more old buildings and improve on my skill.
