Team effort

As I was getting my paintings ready for the 113th Sasa Annual exhibition selection weekend, I was a bit (understatement) nervous as to which paintings will be suited for this event.

I finally decided on three paintings of which "Into the City, Cape Town" was one of them. I did not want to include it as I thought that it was not good enough. Thankfully, I have a few supporters of which my husband is the biggest.

Following his encouragement, I bravely submitted "Into the City, Cape Town". If it was not for him I would have missed out on ... being selected the "Best Oil"! Now how grand is that?! Every time just as I think that maybe this art thing is not for me then something happens to spur me on. Thank you Sasa for this award and all my family and friends for your continues support. - a team effort indeed.
